The AGRIOZ factory, located on the outskirts of Yilan, Taiwan, is a major producer of premium candied fruit products. An adjoining warehouse, once part of the production factory, has been converted into a museum and cafe. The museum is designed to communicate the individual elements and ingredients that make up the variety of candied fruit products produced exclusively by the family-owned company. Visitors to the museum are encouraged to smell and touch the different spices and fruits to gain a better appreciation of the use of natural ingredients in the making process of candied fruits. The adjacent cafe is designed to allow a generous amount of natural light and a view of the garden to enter the interior, offering visitors a space to slow down and enjoy a cup of tea, accompanied by one of the many freshly-baked pastries from the kitchen.
