In a climate of self-adoration, blatant denial of imperfection and a cultural confusion born out of a narcissistic society, our expectations of self-representation suffers further disillusionment. The seemingly honest reflections from a humble mirror is no longer desired. We want only the best viewpoint of our image and accept nothing less. The position of the mirror, traditionally placed perpendicular to the user, will now have to be adjusted to continuously provide the best view of the user without forgetting to offer a subtle reminder, that we can also be quite ugly at the same time.
