FILM
2008
A film produced for the residents of a new suburban area illustrating a scenographic perspective of their little town that many have grown so accustomed to even notice. Different spatial qualities and obscured landscapes are framed and captured using a used car tyre (also from a garage in the town) as narrative. From this film, we hope to re-establish the spatial and social relationship between inhabitant, community and the surroundings.
Commissioned by Sophie Krier for film screening during the drive-in event “Lang Leve de Tijdelijkheld” at Nieuw Vennep, The Netherlands.
